Gilbert and Jonathan

Founders

Jonathan Conrathe and Gilbert Habimana’s story is an inspiring testimony to the

transformative power of faith, friendship, and service. Their friendship began in 1988 when Jonathan first traveled to Rwanda as a young missionary. Gilbert, who was transitioning into ministry from Survey Engineering services, and who spoke both English and Kinyarwanda, the local language, served as his interpreter. Over time, the two men developed a close bond as they worked together to share the gospel and reach out to the people of Rwanda.

Their ministry together saw many people come to Christ through big and small crusades held

throughout the country. As they witnessed the move of God through signs and wonders, they became increasingly aware of the intense poverty that many Rwandans are facing particularly in the aftermath of the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994. They began to explore ways to address these needs and provide tangible assistance to those in need.

Their work began informally, with Jonathan providing support to a few orphans and widows each

year. But as they saw the impact that their efforts were having, they knew that they needed to do

more. In 2013, LifeLink24, was established as a compassion wing call alongside reaching out to the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and later gave birth to Life Link Rwanda.

Through this organization, they were able to expand their work in Rwanda and provide even more assistance to those in need, caring for widows and orphans and providing relief for those in crisis. The goal was to inspire genuine hope through expressing the love of God in practical ways. Throughout their journey, Jonathan and Gilbert’s friendship has been a driving force behind their work. They share a deep bond, forged through years of working together to serve others. Their friendship has inspired others to get involved and make a difference in Rwanda, and it has been a shining example of what is possible when people come together with a shared vision and a willingness to serve.

Furthermore Jonathan Conrathe is the founder and director of Mission24, an international evangelism ministry that seeks to share the gospel with people all around the world and he travels extensively, preaching the message of hope and salvation to those who are hungry for it. He has seen countless lives transformed by the power of the gospel and remains committed to sharing this message with as many people as possible.

Gilbert Habimana serves as President of Life Link Rwanda, and Teaching Pastor at Agape Community Church, a thriving congregation in Rwanda. He is a respected leader in the Christian community and is known for his wisdom, compassion, and dedication to serving others. In addition to his work at the church, Gilbert is also a board member of several NGOs in Rwanda, where he continues to advocate for those who are most in need.
